I was ill. Trying to sleep with a high body temperature always causes my brain to work with no control and/or a way to stop it. Just laying down and watching nonsense that your mind produces.
It was something like a Nintendo's E3 Digital Event. I don't really remember the whole list of titles, but the ending part was the most vivid. Reggie was like "But that's not all. We have just one more thing to show you. It was really hard to include everything we wanted you to see about it, so we give you this. Please enjoy this 17 minutes long movie about an absolutely new game with an absolutely familiar character".
It was a cartoon, with a nice ancient-esque style, like what would you expect from a cartoon based on a legend. The story was about a peaceful world from the past that looked like something Asian with all those culture/folklore things. And then, there were scenes of demons(?) destroying stuff and harming people and a screen with a text about oh-how-bad they are.
The next scene was a Mario-like samurai(?) character standing inside a building, looking around, ready to attack. Then something black rushed on him, making him fall. After that, there was a scene of that character trying to stand up, looking at the direction of the black mass shocked. The mass shaked a few times and morphed into a Wario-like... thing. It was completely black with some white details and a white mask on its head that looked like Wario's face but less lively. It wasn't fat, but it had a pair of massive jaws on its chest with a tongue sticking out of it. I don't know, it curled itself in its tongue, so its silhouette looked exactly like Wario's.
After that, there was a short fighting scene with Mario-like samurai winning and that Wario-demon-whatever-it-is vanishing.
I don't clearly remember what happened next. That demon somehow possessed the Mario-like samurai, visually turning him into a mix of Mario in a samurai outfit and the current Wario. He used him for his own various motives, mostly just pleasing himself.
Then there's a female character. A Peach lookalike in the same Asian style. She was looking for the samurai, trying to rescue him. His soul called her to the demon's lair. The demon tried to fight her but he physically couldn't lend a hit. That Peach lookalike told something about the power of love and called the soul of the samurai herself. The Mario-samurai was saved by this, and the demon started to move fiercely, trying to attack both. He was constantly shapeshifting as if glitching, destroying his own lair without control, and the last thing was him curling in its tongue again screaming in pain, getting stuck in the form of current Wario. The lookalikes ran away, and the Wario-demon got crushed by a falling wall of the lair.
The next scene was a place from the "current" time, something like Diamond City. It was just Wario looking down on something. The camera moved down to reveal that one of his hands looked as usual, and the other was black, just like the demon's.
After all that animation, there was the name of the game. It was WarioW*something*. WarioWrath, if I remember correctly.
And then I got up, feeling worse than before that sleep :/
