Oh new characters would be great. I'm imagining playable Waluigi, Captain Syrup, Mona or Ashley or Jimmy T, Peppino or Anton, etc...

This is definetely an exciting news! I'd love to see things like a widescreen version of WL4 or having new playable characters among other things!

Maybe. The odd thing is I never watch much SpongeBob so I don't know if it was that. Maybe the suicide Squidward creepypasta influenced my dream too now that I think about it. -

I think it might be an early sprite, but downscaled slightly so it would fit the tile. They probably didn't feel like replacing it, or just kind of didn't notice, so it remained. That would be my guess.
