Yeah, theyre fully aware that I hurt myself doing truck : p And its not 100% bad, as our current freight lead/ now new General Manager is nice enough to let me off the hook with the unloading of the furniture (that really hurts me), but even still I have to move thousands of packages and pallets and pallets covered in boxes we unloaded, and we have to unload the entire truck ourselves and build our own pallets and everything, and its a massive strain on me.
I need a new job and all yeah, but at the same time its hard to make the move cuz Im strongly appreciated there : p I mean I can show up late everyday and they dont even say anything. Each one of my managers has told me on multiple occasions how much Im apprecated, how hard I work and how they are happy that I work for them.
In fact, right now I could be given a management position. They need a new freight leader, and Ive been told more than once that I would be great for the job. The only reason I dont aplly for it is because I only do this about 30 hours a week. As manager, Id not only be doing it about 50 hours a week, I would be the one responsible for setting up the line with the 70 pound rails, moving the furniture, and Id be solely responsible for getting the job done, meaning that if I had a lazy crew Id have to pull their weight. No way am I gonna deal with all that : p
I guess I should just get a new job and work hard again for their appreciation.
