This game is looking like hot garbo, well here's hoping we'd get a mystery dungeon on the switch that'd be way exciting.

It looks like a hybrid of the main games and Pokemon Go. That being said, I'm sick to death of Kanto and I don't care for Pokemon Go so I think I'll pass.

Tried Pokemon Quest; can't say it's the best game in the world as the battles kinda play themselves and it adopts a mobile microtransaction style.

Not a fan of it myself, but hey, if it gets more people into the main series, that's good by me.

Plus the co-op stuff and following Pokemon return needs to be ported over to the main series too.

If Quest had a more vibrant look to it as well as adding multiple regions it'd be nice but no it just seems like another dime a dozen games. Still gotta get that mystery dungeon switch hopefully.

Quest has a mobile vibe which I don't care much for.
And I see lots of people worried or bashing over Pokemon Let's Go, which I find funny! xD

I'm not a big fan of the sort of watered-down gameplay that Pokémon Let's Go has, but I can see why they did it from a marketing standpoint, getting people who really enjoyed Pokémon Go back into the series, and on the bright side, it seems to be touted as a spinoff rather than a mainline game, so presumably Gen 8 is still coming in the nearish future as well.

I wonder why you posted this? Is there something special about this 'mermaid'? I'm not very well acquainted with the Pokémon series.

Nothing really special about it just a new redesign for Misty and her gym which resembles the anime more, and speaking of the original Pokemon anime more stuff related to that seems to be appearing in it as well with Jessie and James.

who did you use?
I trained all my Pokémon up to level 45 before confronting the Elite Four, and bought as many vitamins as I could. My team consisted of:
Iglo Sandslash
Uranium Magmar
Kephalai Dodrio
Mee-eter Parasect
Cute Dewgong
Ostaf Snorlax
Mee-eter and Uranium were honestly rather useless. Mee-eter had Spore, but it was so weak otherwise I couldn't get much out of that.
I didn't like to use potions (as they are expensive :P), so I used a lot of Rest. Uranium, Cute and Ostaf all have rest, I don't think Sandslash can learn it.
Ostaf could be incredibly powerful, if I used Amnesia once or twice, and then Thunderbolt.

Snorlax is an incredibly useful Pokemon in the older gens really considering it can pretty much stall out with moves like amnesia and yeah since it's normal type it could learn a bunch of moves. Haven't replayed any of these super old Pokemon games I'd like to one day.

And it's got so much health! :o Paired with Rest it seems almost indestructible. :P
