Some advice for some of the youngings on this site who live in the United States and are thinking about going to college.
If you can go to college without having to take out any loans then it's probably a worthwhile use of your time.
If you must take out loans then be very careful. Carefully pick what you want to make your career choice and figure out if you really need to go to college. Stuff like being a doctor you obviously need to go to college but for other careers you may able to get where you want to end up with just training and certifications which cost way less.
If you want to go to college because you want a "good career" but don't know what you're putting yourself in a risky situation where you'll end up with a lot of debt and underemployed.
Can someone explain to me the appeal of counting threads? I understand the appeal of stuff like "Rate the above user's avatar" "Continue the story" or "Would you rather X or Y" type forum games since they require creativity and you look forward to what the next person is gonna say. However there is no creativity in counting threads and you know exactly what the next person is gonna post so this has me stumped.
