@pjparadox Haha I definitely agree. While holding the rhythm is important and great and all, you can still totally step up and do whatever you want, as long as it sounds good : p I really admire and appreciate those who do such a thing, even with the weirdos out there who keep saying "you cant do that" (theyre out there btw : p)

@Ninja_Cat I wasnt competing over it, was just talking about something that irks me : p

I dislike it when alternate interpretations of characters permeate themselves too much to the point that people treat them as if the actual character is that way. I guess going back to the whole hivemind thing the internet creates.
i didnt even know people had many varying ways to see characters. but then again, conspiracies, theories, and the word tsundere would be completely pointless if that was true.

and i guess pushing anything too much can be annoying. except how awesome TOG and smg4 is. :p

You know what really grinds my gears (family guy)
To much cream cheese, every time i go to dunkin' donuts and order a bagel with cream cheese, they destroy it with cream cheese. Sometimes i find myself going to DD with aluminum foil and taking the cream cheese home, there's so much ( i guess that's not bad but seriously,i don't wanna vomit cream cheese at 3:00).

I really hate seeing litter all over the place in public. There are bins all over the place in the city, yet there is litter in every corner. Is it really that hard to just throw it in the bin?
It kills my mood a little whenever I go to a park and find litter dumped around the place.
exact same problem where i live, people just stop caring because the city is kinda crap anyway.

Those damn buzz feed videos fetishizing the crap outta the 90's.
While the 90's weren't all bad those days kinda sucked. but of course buzz feed thinks they where great and could do no wrong, live in the present, and that's another problem, Every decade has a significant amount of its own problems so people always reminiscence on the days 20 years ago completely forgetting the bullshit, excuse the language
Now people say the 90's where great, In the 2000's people said the 80's where great, in the 90's people where all about the 70's moreover people where about the swing era, that's how you now it sucked. In all honesty, i do kinda miss those days but c'mon, there were not all that great so just move on already.

collegehumor< buzzfeed, though that isnt saying much.
and yeah, people have different names for different "generations" like millenials, baby boomers, etc, but its all just old people acting smug about their childhood era and making younger people take the piss to be honest. also, people act like the world is falling apart, but it really is only that the social sense of normality is morphing constantly.

lets just hope we get in our sick kicks before its taboo :D

Why do people judge an era or decade based on pop culture, instead of their own life experiences? They think there childhood years should be valued equally by everyone.

We all lead different lives. For one fella the 90's may have been hell on earth, while for me they were the most wondrous, exciting times of my life. And that doesn't revolve around pop culture alone, that revolves around my own life experiences. One of my favourite Christmases ever (2004) turned out to be the WORST day ever for others like poor Richard Attenborough, who lost both his daughter and granddaughter in the Thailand tsunami.

Decades all have their problems, even this current one. Every person of every generation claims this one is the best one to exist cuz theyve progressed so far and all that, but even this current generation has a ton of stupid problems that makes it terrible.

The 90's were just as bad as today, nothings changed : p When judging an era Ill usually do it on "how cool was that era?", if I were to judge it on the problems that existed at the time there would be nothing to appreciate about any place in time ever : p

Overall, the 90's were pretty cool. They were more interesting than todays world, definitely : p I feel like theres not really anything to look forward to anymore. Popular music has become stupid freaking dance club music, cartoons are filled with internet memes and are nothing but mindless "randomness", video games just arent that exciting anymore, and you have to be able to somehow use your internet and connect every device you own into the game to get the full experience now, theres just nothing worthy of my attention anymore : p Is a bummer.

I've been using the status as a personal rant section and I feel really, really bad about it.
Let me post my recent rant

This is going to piss a lot of people off, but I a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y kind not stand, the kind of person who abuses substances (drugs or alcohol, whatever) and thinks constantly criticizing society, religion, or whatever-the-fuck form of "establishment" or "convention" they think is prevalent is forward-thinking and enlightened. These have to be some of the most pseudo-intellectual, lazy, entitled pieces of shit I run across to. Not only do their brains seem to have difficulty grasping any concepts that aren't rooted in some obscure, surreal kind of thinking that should only exist in fiction, but they also tend to be very shallow, insane, and deluded.
This is almost always the type who thinks watching edgy cartoons with excessive gore in it is giving a "fuck you" to society or even better yet, acting like a complete douchebag to everyone and looking at anything with structure and order with contempt.

I kinda get the mentality, since I was like this myself at some point, but it really is just self-harmful and puts yourself in a perpetual state of circle-wanking over your exaggerated and fanatical thoughts.

The internet overrepresents some of this people, like it gives off the impression there's more of them than there actually is. While it's true these people are increasing (probably cause our current culture or whatever enables this lazy as fuck behavior, but whatever) , they should just stay in the darkest outskirts of society as possible and be shunned like the freaks they are.

Yeah, we judge decades based on pop culture, entertainment, ect not individual experiences. IMO, the 90's peaked during the 1990-1994 years. It got steadily downhill after that.
For the 80's the best years were 1982-1985 but they were all solid. With 1988-1989 being a little less good.

2010's hasn't really proved to be particularly innovative in any facet. I say this as someone who JUST turned 18 in 2016.

A few weeks ago, I had an early 2000's mania. I listened to music, played videogames, and watched movies from between 2001 and 2004.
I thought: ¨ Man, why wasn't I born a few years earlier?¨ But then I thought ¨Does that make any difference? I had a great time as a child.¨
Point is, you can't choose when to be born, and that's it. But that does not mean that nostalgia is bad.

Early 2000's? Why? Even in the early 2000's I knew that it wasn't good as the previous decades
It really, really has to do with the political climate, culture, social consciousness, and entertainment going on that colors a decade. I DEFINITELY would like to be 18 in 1983, because come on. The peak of music is happening, there's no internet bullshit, and it's just the start of technology coming in
