Could the Star Fox reveal support this Wario Land rumour?

Apparently, the rumour that said Wario Land was getting a new game also said that Star Fox was getting two, with one being a remake/classic game of sorts due out this summer:

So, does that give credence to the Wario Land rumours too?
 
It does. All the attention Wario has been receiving lately is no coincidence. Wario Land images for Nintendo Online in august 2025. Four added classic Wario games to Nintendo online since february 2025. Special trailer in several languages for Wario World in december 2025. Information about a new Wario Land in march 2026. Poorly selling WarioWare games since D.I.Y.

At the end of july 2026 we will start the 19th year of waiting. The only real question left is: Will we reach the 20th year of waiting before the new Wario Land is confirmed? That would surprise me very much.
 
I'll take anything I can get at this point. Even if it's a remake. The Star Fox fans have done nothing but bitch and moan about there new game being a remaster, but I would've been ecstatic to get a remake of Wario Land.

Even if it was Shake It, I'd still be happy. It's the most boring one, but it'd still be awesome to have SOMETHING.
 
Fortunately I doubt it. The Star Fox designs were based on the box art.

I would be all for the scariest Rudy the Clown! Bring it on! If we get a remake of WL3, I want the Rudy the Clown reveal to be the face of nightmares
 
I thought you were talking about if Wario will ever make an appearance in the Super Mario movies which Miyamoto replied that he won't allow gross out humor, that being Wario's main issue: He's a completely different character overseas.
