  • Let me just join the chat and open my own topic, ignore everything that has been said, and steal the spotlight, because whatever you just said a second ago is not important to me or anyone.

Yes, I just needed to let my irony out. None of what I said is true, but I keep seeing that happen over and over. It's quite disrespectful.

If it's something i've been doing, then I'm sorry.

I'm not talking specifically in our chat, but in every chat I go to, although yes, it happens a lot in our chat. I'm not pointing out anyone, I think it should come from each of us to look around before we interrupt someone with completely unrelated conversations.
Rejected on OCRemix again. At least I get feedback...

I always take feedback with a grain of salt. The judges understand and appreciate all genres and mediums of music, but not every one will grasp your piece and what it means emotionally.

Simply for example, let's say you don't have the best samples and software at your disposal. These so-called limitations don't limit your artistic ability, and your work has just as much heart and love as any other musician's. Unfortunately, most folks don't seem to see this. It's all about the technicalities, not about the meaning. They'll overlook a masterpiece just because it sounded "off" to them. What if that's the point? What if the creator did this intentionally as an artistic choice?
These people can't appreciate real art, real music, or anything. Almost nobody does nowadays. Only a few souls still truly grasp art.

...That was lengthier and preachier than I anticipated.

I see what you mean, but so far I've not been pointed out negatively about my artistic talent or software limitations, it's details about the track themselves. As long as that's the kind of feedback I get, I'm fine with it.
Plus, I think I got praised for showing great improvement.

Not sure what you mean by the "tracks themselves", as that ties directly into what I was saying about the artistic choices.

My point wasn't strictly about technical limitations (it is a big focus though) as much as music in general. Creative liberties are simply artistic decisions, and it's all too common that someone's work is criticized for being exactly that; different or experimental. There's nothing inherently wrong with this. In fact, I encourage it. But unfortunately, as I said before, nobody understands this concept.

    I'm just rambling now. Sorry.

So, I'm good? I hate being agressive, I'm usually trying to be so friendly. Good to know then.

The fact that you're mindful of how you act and want to be friendly with people is a good sign. You wouldn't be too aggressive without knowing it.

Yes, we first need to look at ourselves before pointing at others. Social interaction is not easy sometimes...

So, no Wario in that presentation! Yay! Let's go back home, everyone, nothing to see! (Didn't expect less, though)
Ok, look, I need a job, not some random person calling me everyday asking question like "PHP or Java?" "Full time or Part-time?" "Tea or Coffee?". Give me a freaking job already, please! ANYTHING! I can go sweep the streets for all I care! God damnit! But please, PLEASE, stop calling me at this time of the day without any proposal, I barely slept 4 hours and I can't go back to sleep because of you...
It's been a few days since we changed to Discord. How does everyone feel? Better chat? Better Forums?

Pretty good. I love how we can share pictures right from our computers, voice chatting with everyone is fun. Emotes are awesome! I really love it, better than the Shoutbox in my opinion.

It's definitely better then the shoutbox that's for sure, but I definitely feel like until something Wario related gets announced, nothing is going to change in terms of overall forum activity. Plus I said this before, and i'll say it again, I'm not sure if Discord was a good compromise, it's better yeah, but I feel like it's too separate from the forums for it to work well in the long term. I guess we'll wait and see what happens though, After all, people are still getting over the shoutbox thing, and it hasn't been long enough to where people are completely comfortable yet, and because it's so separated from the forums. It could definitely introduce it's own problems in the long term, like the voice chat, the lack of site activity as a whole. And the possibility that non members could join. (Even though non members aren't allow to be invited.) Which would introduce a ton to problems to the forums. Like trolling and shit. Like I said, we'll definitely have to wait and see what happens.

I think the division was gonna happen regardless when it comes to people who just like the community and like to chit chat and those more interested in deeper discussion on the forums as was apparent when the ShoutBox had people's attentions. I mean yeah there are some people who are inbetween but those weren't many.
Sick as a dog, goes to the groceries store under the rain and cold weather... Leave me alone!! xD
Don't get me wrong, but the forums are still pretty active with the new discord chat opened. So far so good.
Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy birthday, dear Blue! Happy Birthday to you!

Hope you have a good one! :)
