Introducing the Nintendo Switch!

The 3DS was awful to hold, so I hope the contoller is better...

But there is another controller for the Switch, you can see it in the trailer, looks like a regular controller, and that's good!

Sounds like you got a case of huge hands, lol. I have no problem with holding the 3ds controllers, especially the 3ds XL. Holding an even bigger 3ds like controller would probably feel like heaven imo.

All handhelds don't feel great to hold, which is why you need to get used to them. If you can't get use to the tablet I guess you can't use the hybrid and only play it at home.

The Gameboy line was fine, except for the GBA SP and Micro. It's just that after a few hours of playing on the 3DS my hands get tired of holding the darned thing.

if the switch is fully portable and doesnt have too many restrictions on the games it can play while on the go, consider me on the band wagon!

I wonder if "third party support" means ports of previous gen games the Wii and Wii U didn't get.
10/10 would buy another fallout machine. im sure they'll have some new third party games too, maybe exclusives.

and if nintendo feels generous, maybe, i dunno, MOD SUPPORT }:-{ though that's admittingly not in the realm of realistic.

No doubt about the exclusives...though going off the Wii U third party exclusives, they weren't too great and then they almost stopped altogether.

It seems like the new 3D Mario is taking aspects from BOTH 3D World and the traditional 3D Mario titles, but moreso from 64/Sunshine/Galaxy it seems - ESPECIALLY 64 considering the Bullet Bill's movement. If the goal is simply "beat the level", I'll be fine as long as the levels are expansive and have plenty to explore... And hey - No more time limit.

Not that I disliked 3D World but I can see why people like the older formula much more, I simply liked it more because of exploration and Mario's acrobatics and healthbar, but at the same time I liked 3D World's level design direction but just wish it could be expanded upon to have more branching paths and feel open ended. As odd as the comparison is, Think of Kingdom Valley from Sonic 06. The alternate paths, the overall openness it feels... I would love to see Mario levels like that, personally but that's just me. It's basically be Galaxy and 3D World's level design expanded upon.

Though I'd also love it if they just felt more like actual places akin to Sunshine. Which judging from that town, seems to be the case.

That was my favorite thing about Sunshine, that it looked like an actual world where people and creatures live. None of the places in Galaxy, NSMB, 3DWorld look like living breathing worlds. But this... This DOES. However it's too early to assume what this game is like. Perhaps that village is only one extremely small part of the game that is otherwise made up of random platforms and blocks.

Mario is like, my favorite character of all video game icons and I'm happy Mario is back with an all new adventure!

This video makes me believe this isn't some 3d world 2, but a full new Mario game we've been waiting years for, I hope that's the case! Mario will forever hold a special place in my heart <3

Zelda is like the only game that's on this system so far. Other than looking like some sort of Wii U 2, nothing particular interesting seems to be on it. Well I am hopeful we'll at least get a Wario Ware title for it since the control schemes make it so we'd be able to make an interesting one unlike Game and Wario.

The Game Boy line really had the best D-Pads for me. Especially the original Game Boy, since it was bigger and easy on the thumb (though that's no surprise, since Gunpei Yokoi invented both the D-Pad and the Game Boy).

Oh, 2017? It's weird to know that when I finally get to play the Switch I'll be 18.

Life feels very short these days, lol. Nonetheless I cannot wait to see what kind of stuff will be shown! Hoping for more info about Mario and Mario Kart 8.5!
