Yeah, being able to kill enemies by just bumping them around is definitely... forgiving, to say the least.
At least that's a way to defeat enemies when you're small. Otherwise you'd be screwed.
When you stun an enemy normally they don't bounce off, they just sorta... slide away.
And when you bump into them but don't stun them they awkwardly slide with stars above their heads but with the same sprite.
It all kinda feels... flimsy.
In contrast, Wario Land 2's enemy ..."physics" were pretty amazing, considering they were als made on the same black and white gameboy. (Too bad Shake it!'s weren't)
That's one of the reasons why I don't like the game as much as the ones that came after it. It's missing that one degree of additional polish in terms of gameplay mechanics.

This is gonna hurt.. but I have no plans to continue with this. University and real life take the majority of my life nowadays. The ONLY chance I might continue with this is when I graduate and have a job and a less hectic live, which would be at least two years. And then again I would rewrite the engine all over again because my programming skills are improving as I study. You can't see it on the demo, but the code's got a lot of tangles, which is the main reason I hated programming bosses, I didn't design my code properly to allow easy development for unique enemies.
that'd be great! Wow I have to use him now. He actually fits in the game rather well too, as Syrup utilizes a number of mechanized minions....including this Mecha-Wart that she pilots:

And it seems I can't even change it anymore. That old username of mine is so cringy. xD
