Hey all, just made a profile for Wario Forums today. I ran into the site while I was searching for some Wario fandom representation, and you jokers are what came up. I've checked out the site, and I'd say I'm looking forward to chatting with you folks. For a quick "get-to-know" thing, I'd say you can comment what it is about either Wario Land or Warioware that you love so much (That is, if you want to). For me, playing Wario Land 4 on my cousin's game boy as a little kid, the game was just so immediately appealing with its music and visuals, and collecting even the smallest things felt satisfying and fun. The Land games are both exemplar 2D platformers and unafraid to shake things up and try new things. Warioware has always been hilarious and a surprisingly captivating time-waster. It's a shame the Wario series gets overlooked so much, in my opinion. What do you guys have to say? Gush away!

Oh, and one more question -- how do I put a little signature at the end of my posts? I'm not too good at forums.
 
Welcome to the wario forums, Vulcan. My favorite thing about the wario ware series are the characters. My fav is Ashley and Pizza dinosaur.

Also to make a sig you must edit it in your account settings.

Hoho! That's quite a toughie. I'll keep it as brief as possible:

Virtual Boy Wario Land; no, you've not misheard me. This is my favorite Wario Land title and one of my all-time favorite video games. It's a fantastic mix of the Wario Land formula we know today--treasures, non-linear stages, methodical gameplay--and it's own formula unique to this entry in the series. The presentation is gorgeous, red-and-black visuals and all; Wario's sprites and animations are the greatest of all his appearances (yes, even Shake It and WL4) and the 3D effect is dazzling. And of course, the soundtrack is stellar, but what else would one expect from the great composer Kazumi Totaka?
I highly recommend you give it a look-see one day, that is if you can get your hands on the Virtual Boy itself. Emulation certainly doesn't do the immersion justice, nor the game itself.

...Indeed, I most certainly live up to my title of "The VBWL Fanboy".
