Personally I'm up for a Smash fangame but that's all up to you. That new move you made up doesn't sound useful personally to me because fat Wario does the same thing but that's up to you to don't let me crush your dreams. Sounds neat.I might as well give some ideas I had for both fan games I wanted to make. I had a few more for Smash, but since you guys probably want Wario Land I'll give you guys some ideas I had for that.I wanted to have everything good from every game into one game. It would mostly work like WL4, but beating levels would work like WL1. You simply go to the end, and you can find secret treasures throughout the way. However, you won't have to pay a ten-coin to beat the level. There would also be a few minigames you could play throughout levels. Transformations would be different, as they could take up a majority of a level and not be invincible. There could even be entire boss fights with one transformation.
The game would also have the Metroidvania elements of Wario Land 3, except instead of regaining all of his classic abilities, he will gain new abilities. So far, these new unlockable abilities I've thought of are:
Piledrive: A ground Pound while holding an enemy, based off Wario World. It's stronger and can break new blocks to get to different areas.
Charge attacks: Wario can also unlock the Head Bash, charged Ground Pound, and charged Power Throw.
Hammerheadbutt: The only ability I made up myself. A small headfirst underwater dash that doesn't have much distance, but can help reach new areas.
Earth Tremor: The Earthshake Punch from Shake It. Instead of shaking the entire screen and stunning all enemies on-screen, it sends a small shockwave that defeats enemies and can be used to solve certain puzzles. As you can tell, most of this game will be puzzle-based.
The story is simple. Wario is in his castle, and he thinks that he doesn't have enough money. Then he remembers when Mario beat him after he tried to take the Mushroom castle. So, he wants revenge. Mario would quickly get the news and send minions to stop (or at least slow down) Wario's progress. Therefore, every level after the first world would have Mario-based enemies.
Which one? The underwater dash attack?Personally I'm up for a Smash fangame but that's all up to you. That new move you made up doesn't sound useful personally to me because fat Wario does the same thing but that's up to you to don't let me crush your dreams. Sounds neat.

Sounds great! Does "It would mostly work like WL4" mean it'd have a heart-based life system? (with possibly parts of hearts gotten back by killing enemies, like the red bubbles in WL4)I might as well give some ideas I had for both fan games I wanted to make. Yes. Most people dislike the invincibility system of WL2-3, due to backtracking.Sounds great! Does "It would mostly work like WL4" mean it'd have a heart-based life system? (with possibly parts of hearts gotten back by killing enemies, like the red bubbles in WL4)
That's the one I meant but you could have different blocks for the underwater dash attack and Fat Wario. I also like the dashing ability from WL4 and it may make for interesting speedruns.Which one? The underwater dash attack?
But I thought you couldn't use transformations underwater. That's the one I meant but you could have different blocks for the underwater dash attack and Fat Wario. I also like the dashing ability from WL4 and it may make for interesting speedruns.
I thought there was just for WL4 at least in Palmtree Paradise (but maybe more levels) breifly. But I thought you couldn't use transformations underwater.
I think you use a fat Wario to get down into the water, but once you hit the ground, you do indeed lose your transformation instantly.I thought there was just for WL4 at least in Palmtree Paradise (but maybe more levels) breifly.
