So a friend convinced me to get back into Dark Souls. Anybody got tips before i repeatedly kill myself?

First you don't die
Second you pray to Solaire that no Giant Dad invades you
Third is learn to parry.
Forth is point down at people and hope you can walk that talk
And now for the most important of all, GIT GOOD

Dark Souls isn't even a hard game. Heck Monster Hunter is a harder game, and people say Dark Soul have slow animation recovery. I've probably died around 14 times my first run in the first game, 16 in the second, and 4 on the third game. I ain't even that good, tis easy.

Bloodborne is better... when you get passed the frame rate constantly taking a dip from time to time. Still a great game!

This would be twice as funny if it were someone from the forums... especially Magma, just minding his own business in the deli, shopping for cheese and spiced meats.

Of course he would have red hair. He's Magma. And I'll bet his eyes burn deep like red-hot coals, from an unknown fireplace in the darkest depths of winter.

Wouldn't that just mean you have the distinct advantage of growing a larger brain than everyone else? Like the Brain from Pinky and the Brain?

I mean, tbh Id rather be Pinky than the Brain. I mean yeah Brain is smart and all, but Pinky is far more happy and cheerful, and likely to make friends and all that, haha.
