I was sad to see this. Wish theyd stop rebooting classic cartoons. I really hate this current popular style of animation : (

I saw one where they did it with ed edd and eddy, and I for real couldnt even tell if it were a joke or not.
It totally looked awful though.

Funny you say apparently some one tried contacting Danny Antonucci about those really bad art style blends with the Ed, Edd, n Eddy picture most of which you've probably already seen. He got so upset over it, wish I could find the link to that, in any case this is more of a sad state in cartoons as of now where all this " bubbly " style not in a good way is making head ways ever since things like Clearance.


What's even weirder is we did get a Thundercats reboot back in 2011 which felt like a more credible, love letter to the original. Seems like some one also did or tried to do a remake of the original with he 2011 version, never watched the 80s series so oop.

 
Don't like bumping this topic, but I think I should probably mention something that's always bothered me about these types of cartoons.

And that's the way they treat their audience like they're idiots. Yes, kids can be dumb, but entertainment for kids doesn't have to be brain dead junk. I hate the attitude that it's somehow 'okay' to make half assed pieces of crap for entertainment and say it's okay because 'kids like it'. You know who didn't do that? Most of the big companies in the video game industry, as well as Pixar. Guess what will be around longer? Something like your show, or something like Toy Story or Pokemon? Point made.
 
Oh don't even get me started on modern cartoons! What happened to the good ol' cartoon humor? Look at the 90's to early 2000's cartoons and see the big difference in quality. Whether it's the animations, the art style, or the jokes, they just don't make 'em like they used to. Not that there's any good modern cartoon shows, but look at any of today's show and then look back at Animaniacs. The difference is night and day.
 
Now I am suddenly remembered of how much I used to like Phineas and Ferb for its interesting characters and specific style of humour. Don't know if the show is still running, but I have always felt that, in the later seasons, the producers slowly drifted away from the original concept in order to fit in more with other cartoons that were around back then.
 
Miss that we don't really have enough shows that center around a storyline that both kids and adults can like, much like gargoyles.
Guess everyone wants to be tex avery now a days which really just destroys the uniqueness we had here in the west it's also effecting modern comics as well, we need a lot more question in our diet with that though.

I am close friends with some one with strong political views however since we joke around a lot it really isn't a problem as we play it off since I don't really view politics seriously unless for the fact that we finally got a president who's in the HoF which is an achievement.

Is there some one whom you have big disagreements with regardless of side? That's also one thing about politics as it entices a lot of emotions.
 
Haha yeah having a president in the wwe hall of fame is a rel achievement for america, definitely : p

And yeah, actually the vast majority of my friends are on the opposite side of me politically. Most of them, at least the ones Ive been friends with for a long time, generally dont have a problem with it. Actually my bestest friend is on this site and knows my opinions and were still bestest friends.

Its usually not a problem with me though, outside a few small cases of someone getting along with me learning Im pro life, then not talking to me as much. Its not so much that/I/ have any problem with it. It just kinda seems like most people believe that you cant be friends with someone who has different politics than you.

I dont believe its true at all. But I sometumes think maybe Im in the minority there.
 
I believe some people just take that political notion at heart, it's one of those things many people take seriously.
Won't say politics isn't important just knowing how the world and your country is doing could just be enough at least the way I see it.

It is often strange when you have some one whom is your friend or in a group of friends with you and when disagreements about this happens they tend to be quiet it's a very psychological area for many people too I sort of just let it pass and slide and think not much of it depending on how much you know the person and vice versa, people can be kind of fickle at times that's just the way of the world. Not really a debater so limited as to how much I can say on this subject other than it drives people that's for true.
 
So last night I dreamed that I was in some sort of housing complex with @Magma, @Glowsquid and @The 3rd Wario Brother. It was a weird dream.

The third wario bro was a large black man, which is funny cuz Im pretty sure he is not a black man. He didnt do a whole lot besides make like jokes here and there I think.

Glowsquid was really mean, he had this friend who wasnt someone I knew, and they only ever made snotty jokes to make me feel bad. Was really bizarre.

Magma was like obsessed with some kinda fallout like game on the PC. And he had all this freaking cherry cola everywhere. Like there were cases of it surrounding him. And like every time I had to walk past him Id slip in the cola, and argue with him to put a towel down, which he eventually did, haha.

There was an event I remember where glowsquid had some money on the corner of his desk on top of these little childrens books. I moved the money because I wanted to see the books, and then was afraid he was gonna think I stole his monet because I moved it.

He also had some kinda music device that I listened to through headphones, and it played some cheesy rocking love song, and magma sang along with me. Though I dont know how he did this because I was the only person wearing headphones : p

But yeah, it was a really weird dream, haha.
