Well, this was the last of Wario's old voice:Imagine out of nowhere the next game to feature Wario had his old voice, that would be pretty weird yet cool at the same time.

No matter how much time has passed this never gets old.
oh, I wonder where you read such interview, I'm really curious!I think I read an interview with Charles Martinet saying the reason he made Wario's voice deeper was to furthet distinguish it from Waluigi. Waluigi at one time sounded too much like Wario.
Is that so? I must confess I only played Wario World once when it first came out, so I'm basing that solely on that commercial. As a matter of fact, his voice clips in Wario Land 4 are the EXACT same as in Wario World, just more muffled due to the Gameboy Advance's capabilities.

It sounds straight up from Punch Out Wii, Next Level Games should make a sequel to Wario World and another Punch Out featuring more SNES/Arcade boxers.I REALLY like his voice there, just perfect. The background music just completes it.
Yeah, the Smash Bros voices are a real particular case. Even Mario and Luigi sound more hoarse and aggressive. But I think they've done that on purpose, It's a fighting game after all. Also, I think his voice is even deeper than usual in the Smash Bros games.
