Eh, I guess I see what you mean, though you could argue that Wario's rivals (Count Cannoli and Carpaccio) don't seem like great phantom thieves either, at least in the traditional sense. How often does your average thief have a mech to fight...
Terrormisu is definitely present throughout the story.
And to be fair, on that basis... are most Wario Land antagonists antagonists? You don't see the final boss in VB Wario Land til the final boss fight, you don't see Rudy until the final boss...
I feel like Golden Diva and Awazon Genie aren't that much of antagonists. Yes, they are the final boss but they don't have that much importance in the story if at all. They feel like yet another boss rather than antagonist that is present...
I think I'm one of the few people who actually likes Master of Disguise, though I might be biased cus I played it as a kid :geniuswario:
I'm not sure if Waluigi being the star of the game would make it more positive or more controversial, given...

Given we've got Nintendo movies and a theme park now, how do you think Wario and his series might factor into these things in future?
Will Wario and co appear in Super Nintendo World? Will Diamond City or Kitchen Island or some other location...

I recently dusted off my 3DS and discovered, thank goodness, my save data for one particular Wario game I wanted to finish was still intact! I had some time to kill that day, so I finished the main story and tried the bonus levels... and what do...

This is really cool! I can tell a lot of efforts has been put into it! I think I recall seeing in this on Reddit but not with the explanations...
But I'm guessing this is just a concept and won't be turned into a fangame but the what is here is...
The inner cover was moreso intended to be a nostalgic callback (this is Wario's golden return after all) and not indicative of how the game itself would look. I imagined the artstyle of this game would most reasonably be a more advanced version...
A few years ago now (aaaAAH!), I found a template for a Nintendo Switch game's cover that let you make your own custom art. It was likely intended to be used for replacing missing boxart or making custom art for an existing game... but I got a...
