Unpopular Opinions for Everything Else

I'm just gonna be that guy and say it: Undertale is an overblown and mediocre game. And I say this as an avid fan of many RPGs. I actually felt it had potential, but it's bogged down heavily by poor execution and questionable design choices.

I can't stand earbuds, and never use them. If you really wanna enjoy your music, use headphones instead. Even the cheapest and simplest headphones can easily beat earbuds.

Headphones are definitely better, but earbuds serve a purpose. I have to wear a hat to work, and they are better to wear with a hat.

1. Eating the creme before the Oreo (or I suppose mainly eating only the cream and wasting the cookie) is a sin on humanity and takes away from the overall value behind the experience of having the 2 together
2. The Lion King isn't the best Disney movie, although it's pretty good
3. Billy Joel is a great songwriter
4. Pineapple pizza is pretty good imo (FIGHT ME SCRUBS)
5. An artist's work is still enjoyable even if they've been ratted out as a horribly sexist pedophile or something on an equally high level of atrociousness (i.e. John Kricfalusi is a dirtbag who preyed on teenage girls but Ren & Stimpy is still one of my all-time favorite cartoons. Same goes for Louie C. K. and his brilliant comedy, and even to some extent with Bill Cosby and his stand-up)

There, that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Will list others if I think of them.

John K. makes me think of his " amazing " ren & stimpy spike tv version, which was pretty much his inner turmoil and sexual aggression pushed onto each episode which is pretty hilarious and sad to the point in which some of the va's wanted nothing to do with it, definitely agree with this bit though there are some really good series made by horrible people it's best to not really meet any of your heroes albeit.

About Ren & Stimpy, John K. only made like 6 or 7 episodes, while the rest would come out with the bizarre/shocking episodes we all love and enjoy in fact some of those mocked John K himself.

Beat them in what regard? I know this is the unpopular opinions thread, but I'm curious. :P Sound quality I highly doubt, if you're comparing €3 headphones to €16 earbuds. Although I'll have to admit I am not a very fine hearer, as I usually export music to around 90 kbps.

As for sound, absolutely. The larger speakers of headphones are just better for the bass tones. And for me personally, I prefer headphones over earbuds any time because earbuds make my ear canals itch and tend to fall out of them.

I think tablets are kinda dumb. They may be better than phones in some aspects but what is basically a big ass phone that can't call is shit to me

This relates to gaming too but I figured since I'm speaking rather broadly it'd fit here more. I am not a fan of cel shading. I am not sure if this is a popular opinion or not since the style continues to be used in video games and animation regardless. I like the idea of it and there are a handful of applications where I can say it looks good but the vast majority of the instances of it that I've seen don't look very appealing. In video games it's usually hampered by terrible jagged lighting and shadows that make things look pretty pointy and ugly. In stuff like anime and FMV cutscenes, like Fire Emblem Awakening's cutscenes, I really don't like how it looks at all. It looks like a terrible 20 fps video game cutscene.

I wasnt aware that most people did not consider Billy joel a good songwriter.
I realize it's weird to respond to this post after so much time but I honestly didn't notice it at first. Billy Joel got a lot of flak back when he was still making albums, particularly from critics, and a lot of it wasn't deserved. I guess things have kind of shifted today as most people seem to enjoy his music a lot more than people used to, but even now I run into plenty of people who consider his music "boring and insipid" (to quote my choir friend). The problem is that people think of shit like "Uptown Girl" and "We Didn't Start the Fire." Hell, I enjoy those songs, but I understand disliking them in the way that some people do, but they don't make up the majority of his repertoire, which has some utterly incredible songs in it. Listen to "Scenes From an Italian Restaurant" if you haven't, it's a fucking fab song of his.

Sorry for the rant, I'm just real passionate about this man's music if you can't tell lmao
