    God, the amount of issues caused by these stupid age verification laws is unreal. If people would just leave Discord, Reddit, etc and go to forums and federated sites, none of this would be an issue.

    I'm so divided on this matter. On one hand there's way too much harmful content for children on the Internet and it's really easy to escape parents grasp nowadays (though they should be the first responsible of course). On the other, those laws do create a lot of trouble and the governments putting them into place are definitely being hypocritical about this.

    Anyways, it's coming to my country real soon so I'll enjoy the freedom to sign up to social media without showing my ID while I can.

    And yeah, I do hope this will mark a rise in forum sites.

    The Age verification laws as well as the bills and pushes means nothing considering what has been going out IRL in regards certain group and people in power. Is the classic "Put a label on a law or a movement that most people would agree upon but the content in within is something different". They don't care, if they did certain people would have been executed or in jail. If they cared Roblox would have been shut down.

    What they care is to have a excuse that allows them to laundry money, get some good rep while doing nothing in regards of the core issues and have even further control of people toughts and expressions.

    People need to learn to be responsible, and maybe...just maybe, there will be hope that the adults that are supposed to take care of their childs (the parents), will actually help them through instead of leaving the governments to brainwash them as they see fit

    I just feel haunted I guess. It's hard to focus on anything lately. My mind just feels like it's completely broken.

    But I guess this place and GR still exist, so hopefully others get something out of my work.

    Having finished a longer than typical video for YouTube (16-17 minutes), I genuinely wonder how people edit hour long essays without going insane.

    I try not to leave any stone unturned, but somehow I never need to talk for like 3 hours.

    If a flower doesn't grow then it's not the seed you should change but the environment you planted it in.

    If you don't feel appreciated where you are than it's not your fault. I know I'm a lot younger than you are and what I say may sound empty but you will eventually find someone who will treat well. Just don't give up, treat people the way you'd like them to treat you and stay away from toxic people.

    Sorry, I just feel like the same thing always keeps happening, and it makes me suspect I'm probably the issue. It's why I'm hesitant to try and become friends with new people, because I know something will go wrong later on.

    I feel you, it's really depressing when your situation doesn't evolve for a long time. But trust me, you are not alone in this and a lot of people are the same situation as you are, meaning you'll one day meet people who will understand your struggles. Just take care of yourself and don't beat yourself over past mistakes you cannot fix.

    Gonna be honest, a lot of video game remix/cover channels on YouTube feel very suspicious nowadays. I know my longtime favourites don't use AI, but there are a fair few new ones that seem to have a new cover or three every day, which feels far too quick to be legitimate.

    Anyone else come across this stuff?

    Found out who EyemDJ was after searching up remixes for Viridian City.
    They posted a remix of the Pokemon Winds/Waves theme song after it was only out for one week, also he posts a lot of remixes in a day.
    I'm pretty sure it's AI...

    Yeah it's almost certainly AI. They can't logically pump out remixes that quickly if they're making them all themselves.

    Yeah, especially when they sound so good quality. Most of these songs don't even have MIDI versions available.
    It takes days (if not weeks) to arrange a MIDI for a remix, yet they're pumping them out left right and center.
    I still prefer human-made remixes compared to this.

    Have to be honest, I've always been confused how well most people seem to know the life stories of the folks they grew up with.

    Like, I wouldn't have the foggiest idea what happened to anyone at my school, college, university, previous workplaces, etc.

    Gonna be honest, if Nintendo and Illumination make a Donkey Kong movie, they should just remake/repurpose the Return to Krocodile Isle animation as the reveal trailer.

    We all know K Rool and the Kremlings will be the villain after Bananza, and that video sells them to people perfectly.

    If nothing else I would at least like to see Benedict Campbell reprise his K. Rool, he absolutely owns the voice for that character to me, and it's much more interesting than something deep and gruff like the grumbles he gets in Bananza.

    Im a newbie here but I genuinely love this place despite it only being semi active! this is like only place where I can yap about my life long hyper specific interest in wario without getting looked funny at. If I wasn't such a scardey pants back then over ANY social interactions I might couldve joined here during times where this place was more active but, this is already more than I could've asked for!
