    man, I wanted to use Wayoshi there but I remembered the last major update for WF saw the disappearance of both it and "Wario Forums Default" (though in the case of the latter it was renamed as the proper Arial.)

    Okay, but anyone who wishes to try for themselves please do so before reading on because there's a spoiler coming up:
    At the end of the second solo, in order to keep BF's voice going. Rather than try for the one sustained note and have the sample cut off too early like it would have done, I added in a quote from Greenhorn Ruins to cover for it.

    So, I was writing an e-mail to someone requesting access to the WL4 HQ sf2's Drive Folder (bc they were using a school email & thus couldn't receive items outside the organization). I've only given the link to it on Polyphone and the Wario Forum that I know of. I just got their access request thing 20 hours ago. So, if you're on WF, I guess send me a DM, and we can look into maybe finding some kind of workaround.

    I capitalised it because as a proper noun, it is the first word of a (made-up) title, and thus in a position in which any word should be capitalised. For example, compare "On Wario Forums, tahutoa is a well-known member." with "Tahutoa is a well-known member of Wario Forums." See the difference?

    Mario vs Donkey Kong for GBA is such an underrated game IMO. Everyone seems to know the Mario vs Donkey kong games from Minis March Again onwards, but the first two games seem to have fallen into obscurity for some reason, which is a major bummer, since they are really good puzzle-platformers. Especially the first one, because that's the only one in the entire series which does not focus on the mini-mario's but on Mario himself instead.
    Recently, Youtuber The Lonely Goomba covered both games, which is nice to see.

    About your quote, I still wonder whether or not that was a kid-friendly reference to those on-demand erotic TV channels. That voice it makes when saying "Mmm, bananas" and the fact that it's about, well, bananas certainly makes it plausible that DK was about to watch something that he didn't want to show us...

    Mario vs. Donkey Kong is actually itself an homage to Donkey Kong on the Game Boy. I've played it before, and it's basically the same experience but feels more polished (ironically) as I recall.

    I'm pretty sure the commercial was more likely an abstract jab at those ads for yogurt and the like which are all artsy and have an ASMR-ass voice narrating over them.

    Watching Jerma's Pikmin 2 stream. At 4:59:20, this big rock snail guy's stomping sound effect sounds just like what I imagine high quality clips of Bowser's Mario 64 stomping would sound like. Also, the brass samples sound awfully similar to WariOwOrld's brass.

    A Rhodes Piano is used in Mario Party 2? That's quite nice. I've always liked the distinctive style of the Rhodes piano; it should be used way more, not only in VGM but also in popular music. It's quite a shame how it has become something of a "forgotten instrument" rather quickly after the sixties. Similar to the unique sound of the Hammond organ, although it's still occasionally heard in modern pop music (As far as I know, the last moderately successful pop song to use both instruments is the Toploader cover of Dancing in the Moonlight from the year 2000) and fortunately also in video game music, like in the works of Jake Kaufman, who used in a few Shantae tracks.
    By the way, now that you're mentioning instruments and synth sounds, do you know if this

    Kirby track's orchestra hits are of the famous [Orch2] sample version? (Keep in mind that this audio is heavily compressed.)
    Like I told you before, much like with the Synth Drum, I like the orchestra hit as well, and it's definitely something that should be used more often, too. It's not only something for 90's rap songs and SNES fighting game soundtracks, you know?
    (By the way, as a matter of fact I recently came across an old YouTube comment of yours where you were discussing the orchestra hit in that Stadium Rave SpongeBob song, and it game me quite a pleasant Aha-Erlebnis for some reason.)
