Yes, I know how people really hate hearing this being played for the 80th time, but I love it. Of the four versions, I prefer version C, mainly due to that drum solo at the start, but I just think it's the better version.

Yeah, I really dug the tune when I first heard my little bro playing that game. I love jazzy casino/city night style music. Those percussion solos had me drumming the air. Heheh. But after a while, I really had to question why SEGA didn't make more fighting tunes. Honestly. We're long past the days of space limitations in game soundtracks.

Honestly I think SEGA should've limited these music to bigger battles like how the Titan and Dark Gaia Spawn was given its own theme. The night stage theme are by far the best in the soundtrack, Skyscraper Scamper night being my absolute favorite video game music ever, but you barely ever get to hear them due to the battle theme being played almost every 30 seconds.
 
Everything that sounds like and comes close to funk, new jack swing, rnb, rock-funk, house, and some other genres i forget at the moment
So pretty much every classic Sonic soundtrack
