The Virtual Boy had a kickass soundchip.

It sure had. This makes me wonder if there has even been genuine usage of it by musicians, because I recognise many common sounds of 90's dance music in this demo.
And at 0:22, we have the VB WL drums.

Tom Salta = lowkey the best western composer of "cinematic" scores for video games. Able to make tracks that blend in theb nackground while still infusing them with a legit identity

Always loved this one. Makes you feel heroic, like an Indiana Jones. Or like Kirby, of course.

Personally, my favorite version is the version used in Rondo of Blood's intro



While a rather short and non-looping theme it's an amazing version that is perfect for the kind of intro that'll get you pumped
