How do YOU pronounce Wario?

I say it pretty much like Charles Martinet says it. And it's the Italian way to say Mario, just starts with W....
This is how I do it. You can hear an official pronunciation from the man himself, so I use that. I used to pronounce it like the word "war" as a kid, though.

I meant, I say it like when Wario pronounces his own name... "Wah-ree-oh"

Until a few years ago I had no idea some people pronounced Mario as "Marry-o". Seems weird to me. Though I pronounce marry, merry, and mary all the same so there's that.

Haha, I had never even heard of Sega World before, and I grew up in the time Sega was huge : p Thats way neat. Also kinda sad, kinda makes me miss Sega : p Wonder what happened to that park? I wanna look it up now : p

Sega World opened in Sydney in 1997 and it closed in late 2000. It got pretty shabby and run down towards the end, so I've been told.

Wish I could've seen the Sonic Live in Sydney show. Basically, it was a really cheesy stage show where Dr. Robotnik is searching for Angel Island to plot an invasion, but instead he accidentally crash-lands his Death Egg into Australia, and decides to take over the city of Sydney. So Sonic, Tails and Sally Acorn go to Australia to stop him... and Tails is shown around Sydney's landmarks and highlights. Heh. Hilarious, cheesy fun. You can actually find some old songs from the show on Youtube if you type in "Sonic Live in Sydney" or "Sega World Sydney".

There's also a great page on Wikipedia that gives you the full scoop....

I remember hearing "WARE-io" in an old SNES promo for Wario's Woods. Just imagine how "Ware-io Ware, Inc." would sound. Heh... Bit of a tongue twister, huh?

Always hated the sound of "WAH-rio" as a kid. The character had a running war-monger/invader motif back then, so I thought "WAR-io" sounded far more distinct and stylish than just Mario with a "W" replacement (obviously I'm at peace with such trivialities now). By the by, @Pigmask Colonel , I've heard you scoff at "wah" before. How do you prefer your "Wario"?
