obligatory "What vidcons are you playing????" thread

I'm addicted to Zelda: Triforce Heroes right now @_@

Once I get bored of it I'm gonna get around to playing Fragile Dreams for wii and then replaying Zelda alttp at some point. Once I'm done with all that, Xenoblade X will probably be out.
Triforce Heroes does look quite fun! In the beginning, you might be teamed up with really stupid teammates, but once you get further into the game, you'll get good ones most of the time.

Yeah, I actually already beat the main story last night xD. Now I'm working on the optional challenges. I haven't had very many incompetent teammates actually. Probably because it only came out recently, so only the Zelda diehards have it yet. There are some assholes that just throw you off cliffs or kill themselves to troll though.

A Gamecube exclusive developed by ND Cube and the last game ever published by NEC, TUBE SLIDER's hook is that, as its name indicates, all tracks take place on transparent tubes. While this may seems gimmicky, the tubes add a pretty neat spin on racing: not all sides of the Tubes give the same speed, and while the "regular" track is usually the fastest, shifting sides at the right time is necessary to collect boost items and avoid nasty drops.

While Tube Slider is one of the very few futuristic racing games to not feature combat of any kind, it maintains a similar dynamic by having a mechanic where if you position yourself behind an opponent, you'll siphon their supply of boost energy to add to your own. However, if the opponent boost while you do that, then they steal your boost supply. Add to that a very agressive (and blatantly cheating) AI and you've got some intense championship races.

The presentation is great too, menus are slicks, the mechanical design is great and the backgrounds are creative and detailled.

It is one of my favourite GC game and definitely the best thing ND Cube ever made- though considering the competition consist of some pool game and the last three Mario Partys, that's not saying much lol

Been playing Conker: Live & Reloaded.

On its own, it's an amazing experience. The voice acting is amazing, the writing (or improv, I should say) is great, and the gameplay is fun. The graphics are also amazing; this is an original Xbox game, yet it could qualify for an early Xbox 360 game! I could even say it's a classic...

...problem is, it's a remake of Conker's Bad Fur Day. And while it's not the wort remake Ive played, it's definitely inferior to the original. The obvious culprit is the censorship, of course. Censors words the original version got away with for some reason. The especially hurts the Great Mighty Poo song, which was uncensored in the original version, but has poo sounds in the place of "shit" and "twat" for some reason.

Less obvious, however, are the gameplay changes. Now, for the most part, the gameplay is intact, but some stuff bugs me. Like, they changed the whacking. Now, this was probably for the multiplayer, but still, it's a bit disorenting. Also, is it just me, or are the swimming and flying bat controls worse? Darn the muscle memory...

Also, enemies are sprinkled around where they weren't originally there, including these doll-things that didn't even exist in the original. This isn't a problem most of the time, but sometimes, it was hard enough when they weren't there to be worried about.

The hungiver chapter was changed. Now, the changes are joked about, includig tye fact that you're using a baseball bat instead of a frying pan...but the jokes weren't particularly funny, and one who hasn't played the original version wouldn't get it.

I haven't gotgen to Chapter X yet, but I'm planning on it. It's a new story chapter. It's something.

Overall, good game, but I'm glad Rare Replay used the original version instead.

WELCOME TO THE XTAL TOWER

I AM XTAL

YOU MUST DEFEAT ALL EIGHT UNITS IN ORDER TO FIND ME.

I'LL BE WATCHING, AND WAITING FOR YOU.

GOOD LUCK!

Zero Divide is a launch ps1 fighting gaem by the developers of Phalanx. It's basically Tekken with a glacially slow walking speed, quirky (and quite awesome) aesthetic and most importantly, ROBOTS.

I'm far from a 3D fightan expert but I'm liking it so far.

I got Xenoblade X for Christmas, am playing it now. I'm loving it so far, though I've only logged about 4 hours and that was mostly spent exploring 1/4 of the districts in the main city. My only complaint so far is that THE TEXT IS TOO FREAKING SMALL I can barely read it. Plus some of the soundtrack choices are pretty weird. I'm not big on hip-hop...

For Christmas my dad got a Samsung 60" 4K Television for the living room. It's great to play Xbox one/360 and Wii u games on. 4k for a wii u is freaking amazing. If I get Xenoblade X that TV will be the best for it.

I got Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life and Another Wonderful Life for Gamecube from Crescent Moon Villager for Christmas, and Ive been playing them a ton : p I really like them, Im already a Harvest Moon fan, and I have played these games, though a long time ago, and Im way happy to have them again : 3 Im already in my second year in the game, haha : p

He also got me a copy of Triforce Heroes for 3ds. And Ive totally played it already. Totally. Definitely not still in the plastic wrap it was sealed in or anything, no >.>

And haha, that boxart for Zero Divide. I miss the 90's : p

Harvest moon is like Animal crossing, no? Those kind of games bore me, we need action and adventure! We need Ashley, The adventures of Ashley and Red : The RPG story to end all RPG's. Feat. Mona

Zelda games don't do it for me either, too many puzzles and junk. Who has time for girly things like that?!

Yeah, well kinda. Like, AC is really just a very watered down copy of Harvest Moon, haha. Theres alot to do in HM. Like, yeah its a life sim, you have a character in a fantasy world, and you make friends with thes townsfolk and junk. But you also run a farm, and take care of animals. And you manage money, and in like the ones for Wii, you can use the money to upgrade your farm, buy new animals, make new buildings, expand your land for your farm, buy new furniture for your house, upgrade and change up your house, buy clothes, jewerly, ect ect : p Its way way fun : 3 And you can also like go mining and find cool things : 3 You can fish and stuff too. You also make friends who will give you gifts and stuff, and after a while you can get married and have children, haha : 3 Its like the best game ever, after Rune Factory, which is the same thing, except they added dungeons and weapons and weapn and armor forging and an RPG storyline and junk, thats my all time favorite game series ever : 3

And I love both Zelda and girly things : p You should learn to appreciate cool things, Kyon : p

Yeah, that's what my father said about our new internet box, that it would be stronger but everyone in the house uses internet in some way. To name a few, my dad's phone, my mom's phone, my sister's phone, xbox one/360, laptop, the babies ipad, my wii u, wii, computer, two 3ds' among other things.

It can get pretty slow.

You can say that again, everyone in my family owns something from either Apple or Samsung, aside from me, but I'm thinking of getting an ipad mini for my Birthday.

Or a small phone and I'll buy a custom Ashley case for it. Even my aunties babies have ipads to play apps on. I wasn't even allowed to own a gameboy that small in fear I'd break it. If they break the ipad it's either keep it if it's not broken too bad or just buy a new one.
