Awww, you didn't like Gex?

Anyway, YES! Dan Castelanetta (or however you spell his last name!) did infact voice Earthworm Jim. He did the cartoon series, ClayFighter 63 1/3 and Earthworm Jim 3D. If you listen closely, it's sometimes easy to hear Homer and various other characters from the Simpsons in his voice, especially when Jim is screaming in pain (or laughing like a maniac).

I didnt hate him, but I think hes definitely my least favorite of the 90s video game mascots : p

And haha yeah, I just typed "guy who played Homer" cuz I didnt wanna try to spell his last name : p Thats way cool though, is a good choice, hes an awesome VA.

Oh wow, I feel like I recognize alot of those voice actors : p Haha I should watch that cartoon, it looks great : p

"WOW! A whole dollar!" : p

Yeah, a lot of famous voice actors were in it. They all did other classic 90's toons at the time. By the way, wasn't Dan Castelanetta the voice of Grandpa Phil in Hey Arnold?

The part at 1:38 in that trailer especially sounds like Homer Simpson.

Haha yeah he did play Phil, and one of the female actors from The Simpsons did the grandma but I cant remember which one, think Tress Mcneil (last name is spelled wrong : p) but cant actually remember.....

And I just realized your CR btw : p Will try to come up with something too : p

Yeah, Tress Macneille or however it's spelt. She's done soooo many great female AND male characters (like Milhouse from the Simpsons, or Taffy from ClayFighter) I also heard Dan doing his Krusty the Clown-type voice in that trailer.... "No. No. No, Mr. Jim! I expect you to FRY!!" Haha.

Anyway, sorry for rambling. It's so great to have another 90's cartoon enthusiast on here! They always lift my spirits, no matter how lousy my mood is.

Don't mention it, Hex. I downloaded Steam to my new computer and stumbled upon your steam account and didn't know all (or most) of your drawings were on there, I enjoyed going through some of them. I also got some steam cards--- I don't think I have enough for gmod however, is 40$ even enough? because I'll have to buy all those others game so there isn't missing textures.

You already own tf2 so the others you need is Counter Strike Source, (not CS:GO) Half Life 2 Episode 2, and Left 4 Dead 2. There are others like Portal 2 and Half Life 2 Episode 1, but it's not deeply needed to play Garry's Mod.

$19.99 + $7.99 + $19.99 = $47.97

Ugh, I knew I should have got the 50 dollar card, but the store didn't have them so I settled for two 20 dollar cards! anyways, is it as simple as just downloading every game into the desktop and booting up Gmod?

Pretty much, though I can just tell you through the steam chat since it'll be much quicker and I could give you all the information you need and teach you how to use gmod.

Sounds good! I'll download the games later this week when I can buy another Steam card so I have enough for the 3 main games, and maybe one of the extras there like Portal 2. This means a lot, Hex. I'm a --- what do PC gamers say? a noob when it comes to PC gaming, I had crummy PC's my whole life so I never downloaded anything too big.

I would recommend getting Left 4 Dead 2 and Counter Strike Source first before getting the others because most things on Gmod required those 2 games. Also PC players use words like Scrub, at least that's all I hear from everyone. If you ever try to do tf2, don't ever buy weapons, just buy hats and misc because weapons can be found every 5 minutes.

Its really hard to find a good Zach Smith cover ; _ ; Heres an okay one though : p

This video makes me wanna look into Yamaha basses, though. (Cuz hes playing a Yamaha : p) the tone of that one is okay, its not real super deep and can get some high end tone (which is a good thing : p) and it has more frets than my bass guitar does : p

For anyone curious, I play this bass guitar here-

squire_standard_p_bass_sp_tts.jpg

Its literally the exact same guitar, but mine has hearts and peace sings painted on the headstock : p

Its a P bass, but it has the J bass pickup near the bridge (the straight thin pickup near the bottom of the guitar) which is good because a standard P bass is very low in tone, and doesnt have much diversity.
But, even still, Im not real big on the tone. I mean it can get kind of a high tone, but it doesnt sound very good with the J pickup alone so I have to kinda tone it down with the P pickup. And Im not the only person who thinks this : p I talked to another bassist who plays the same guitar, and he said he never plays with the J pickup on its own because the sound is kinda rough.

Ive kinda fallen out with Fender, Id like a new guitar but I dont wanna get another Fender : p Unless its a Jaguar, as it has more tone options. But I think I wanna look into some other guitars.

Oh shiiii---- I forgot Gmod itself costs money, lol. I keep thinking it's free for some reason. I'll download the things I can buy right now and buy another two 20 dollar steam cards when I can.

Thanks for the tips, Hex. I don't plan on buying in-game things unless it really interests me, even then I usually don't buy stuff.

I'm so excited to start playing! I've been wanting Gmod for years, now I finally have the PC to make it happen! so enough about me. How are you doing these days? Still working on art and stuff? weren't you making an animation of Ashley or was that an unfinished drawing?

I've been doing okay I guess, I don't do much. Yeah I still work on a lot of artwork and play with my friends on tf2 and l4d2, but I haven't worked on the animation since I showed a preview. (lazy actually) I got a tablet to do things quicker but I need to get used to how it works.

You guess, huh? that could either mean you aren't doing that good, bad or even not even knowing how you feel. Whatever the case is I hope everything goinh
okay for you. That's good, your drawings are simply amazing, I mean that, everything you make is a work of art. I could only wish to be half as good as you someday, I try at it though! : P

Ahh, so it was an animation! Animation doesn't look easy so I don't blame you if you get lazy working on it! but it looks really good so far, looking forward to seeing it once it's done!
