Did Wario Land Shake fail because it was marketed poorly or did it suck? because I want to give the game a play.

Every two Fridays we get Pizza, and today is the second Friday! that means pizza day, lol. Yummy!
Ive been thinking about that lately. Are some people afraid to just let go and be casual and not care about judgement when interacting? Do they think that people dont care enough to just talk about whatever and have fun?
It's a beautiful, hand-drawn masterpiece with tons of challenge and replay value.
Wario Land: Shake was a loner and huge risk when it came out. It should have revived 2D platformers on home consoles, but was completely overshadowed by Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Kart Wii which came out earlier the same year (2008). New Super Mario Bros Wii came out over a year later (late 2009) and started a huge rebirth in 2D platformers on home consoles. So Mario took what should have been Wario's crown a year and a half before.
Btw, I was thinking about something. Do you think that people on the internet lack the ability to have just regular plain old basic meaningless small talk? I mean of course not like every single person who ever existed on the internet would be like that, duh. But like, I often notice that like some conversations online can be fun and silly, but then there are some that like, it seems that unless the person can make a well thought out, well informed statement, no one will say anything at all.

umm... nice weather we're having. Is small talk even possible with text? Most small talk is just to break the silence for a few seconds. It doesn't mean random or personal things can't be discussed though. Some days feel easier to talk than others for some reason.
