I've thought that maybe there could be a minigame featuring Mona and Vanessa (as friends) along with Joe in a casino.

Here, you can play stuff like roulette, slot machines, and various card games. Mostly like Luigi's minigames in Super Mario 64 DS. You could get a few prizes out of them if you win at them.
 
You can earn gold in all the games at various points, and use them for those casino games, and to buy stuff in a shop.

In this shop, you can get prizes that range from the following (but not limited to):
  • Snapshots of parts in levels that show you where to find hidden/secret rewards
  • Character and enemy/boss info
  • Tips on how to use every character and how to handle or beat their games
  • Random toys and stuff like the prizes you get in Twisted and Game & Wario
  • Microgames from Gamer Deluxe






...God damn, where the hell did everyone go?
 
Oh, right. Fronks appear infrequently or rarely throughout every level in the game as harmless "bonus enemies". If you're lucky enough to catch and defeat one before it gets away, you can get a swell amount of gold from them.

That, and appearing at other intervals throughout the game as usual.



On another note, is it weird that I can already see a development story for this game happening?

Goro Abe: "I've always wanted to do more with the characters in the WarioWare series, but never got the chance to do so. Until now...

...We got a start with it in Game & Wario, but we've decided we should expand upon that even more! ...

...We then thought, what if we could make a platformer type of game where you play as all of them? ...

...But, they're all completely different from each other, and all have different goals! How is it possible to get them all together in an adventure? But then I realized, a lot of us here in this team love playing Kirby Super Star, and decided we could easily take inspiration from that...

...We even went and presented the idea to HAL, and they loved it!"

Some dude from HAL: "Yes, that's right! Not only that, but we even co-developed this game!

...We also let them use a few Kirby characters in 9-Volt's level. We also find the WarioWare characters to be an intriguing, quirky bunch, so you can tell that our relatoinship when working on this game grew well!"

Satoru Shibata: Today's interview is with the development team of WarioWare Adventures (TM). May you introduce yourself, Abe-san?

Goro Abe: I'm Goro Abe of the Software Planning & Development. For WarioWare adventure, I was responsible for conceiving the game's core concept and supervising the developmeant team.

Takeko Hira. Hello, I,m Takeko Hira of the Software Design and Development department. My existence is a vague, meaningless void.

Satoru: So Abe-san, what spurred the idea of making an action game with the WarioWare(1) characters?

Goro Abe: After we finished development on Game & Wario(1). We received many Club Nintendo surveys expressing the desire to see the WarioWare characters in an action game, especially among female players. Game & Wario already featured many of the characters playabled in the games, so we thought it was a logical move for the series.

1: Game & Wario: An action game released for the Wii U in 2013, making use of the Wii U gamepad.

Takeko Hira, Especially, there were many demands to bring back the Sewer Guru character, which we found very surprising since he hasn't appeared in ten years since WarioWare: Touched!(2)!

2: WarioWare: Touched: An action game released for the Nintendo DS in 2004.

Satoru: I guess he must be a hit with the ladies! (laughs)

Penny could have a guide/helper role here (giving frequent advice with on-screen dialogue), and she'd be the one who made Mona's outfit and the watch-like device she uses to don it. A weapon Mona uses here is a sword/gun hybrid also made by Penny. You can switch its forms at will.

I don't know whether it should be this design or something a bit simpler, maybe? Does this look a bit too...out there for her?



But, oh, I know. Remember Mona's three little pets? The monkey, pig, and elephant? How do you think they could work in this scenario? Extra power-up types for her that she can use every now and then?

I think it looks fine, compliments her hero outfit quite nicely.

As for her pets, I’d imagine them working like Eddy from the Mega Man series where they show up in certain parts of the stages and give Mona some sort of item, maybe even some special powerups that you could only get from them.
 
Ah, that sounds good. I think that would be fine for them.

As for bosses in Mona's game, I suppose that they could be these giant robots she has to take down on her own. The battles would be like in Shadow of the Colossus, in which she has to climb onto them (or topple them down first, depending on the boss) to find their weak points, and then attack from there.


Now, moving on......Okay, I've hit another brick wall. Which game should I explain further next?

Let's talk about Jimmy's game now.


Again, this is a rhythm-action platformer where you have to press the button at the right times to keep going. Mess up too many times (or fall into pits by missing) and you lose a life.

At certain points in some levels, there will be the occasional button press where you can get a text from someone to Jimmy on his phone. Keep your rhythm/flow going to let the text messages type themselves out. (A miss may mess them up) These are usually family members saying (to name a few), "Jimmy, where have you been? We've been looking everywhere for you! Arrive home safely when you can!", "Jimmy, wherever you are, we're all worried sick about you. I even cooked you your favorite dish tonight, but you weren't here for it."

It takes place in Rhythm Heaven, so a lot of characters from there will show up. You can get many of them along the way to follow Jimmy along like a parade. The more you have in this "parade", the higher your score. Any misses will make one of them leave.

Now for enemies and bosses.


In Kat & Ana's game, there are these guys they have to fight:

These ogres are the guys who kidnapped all the animals in the forest. These are just a few of them; there are a couple more varieties too.


And in Mona's game, she has to defeat these robot guys:

There are a couple more after these, plus giant robot/mech bosses she has to take on by finding their weak points.




And now onto bosses, here's one of them. At the end of Wario's first mission, Reckless Romp. Meet the aptly named Boss Rat:

Remember the mice that he terrorizes in Twisted and Game & Wario? This guy's their leader. He's twice Wario's size.



He also appears again in Wario's later mission, Return to Glory, for revenge:

For the record, that weapon's actually incredibly heavy. Not even Wario can hold it on his own.
Mona's outfit also makes her strong enough to hold it with one hand.

You probably had it figured out already, but the premise of Mona's game is near similar to that of Mighty Switch Force.

I'm a bit late to the party since I have been rather occupied with other things recently, but whatevs, I love the idea of the mouse boss, after Twisted and Game & Wario you might as well call mice his nemesis within the Ware series.
