I understand how you feel. I honestly felt conflicted on what to do because I wanted to play it since it was coming out in Europe first and I had the means to do so but on the other hand I also wanted to support the series since the game comes out for me a week later. I really don't understand why there's a delay for North America since everything was pretty much translated.

I am glad there are only so few microphone games. I don't like them and didn't like them in WWT. Blowing in my DS/3DS is not fun for me.

Have to say I agree with you there. The microphone was a neat enough novelty in Touched, but to be honest, it's not all that enjoyable a control scheme compared to the others possible in a 3DS game. And the games that shoehorned in/made it vital to the gameplay (looks at Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story with the Fawful Express fight) kinda suffered for it.

So it's probably better it's been limited to a couple of microgames here rather than getting a whole story's worth of them.

Ok, so I just found a TERRIBLE design flaw in one of the microgames.
In the one where you tilt the 3DS to roll Samus in morph ball form to get an item, the game doesn't register your movement until Samus turns into a ball.
But this is a GRAVITY based microgame. Meaning if you tilt the system before she transforms, the entire game is fucked up. There's no way to know where the game thinks real life gravity is supposed to be going.
It should've registered your movement as soon as the microgame started.
So now you have to completely hold still until samus rolls up, if you want the physics to be accurate.
I don't remember this being a problem on the GBA.

But the worst thing is, there's no way of knowing this.
So you might be getting completely confused why the physics aren't adding up.
This NEEDS to be fixed!

Remember that sound at the beginning? I missed it already when I first heard the replacement which is in the final version of the intro. It's too bad. The old one gave me life.

That's actually the same sound effect heard when you choose a stage in Touched!, so I knew from the beginning it was a placeholder. But where does the awesome music (0:39) play in the full game?!?

Just finished the game.
Gotta admit, I was watching spoilers of Wario Deluxe before getting the game, BUT. I was watching them without sound. Didn't spoiler the best part. His gorgeous voice. Feeling so dumb yet happy.

The only moment that made me kinda sad is that you can't cheat on the missions. Can't buy it, even for an insane price, and there's no other way (like hammers in SSB.) you can end it without completing the task.
I'm that sad owner of an Old 2DS with no friends in general around with WWG. That's at least 2 missions I can't do >:C

Souw, been playing the game a lot since I came back home yesterday and while I am saving my impressions for a dedicated post on my Wario blog tommorow, I will certainly say that I don't think that I'm just being a shameless Wario fanboy, by saying that I love the game, there's some nitpicks for sure, but as a whole I'm very happy with WarioWare Gold.

Also, already got my first three digit highscore, with exactly 100 points on
Wario Deluxe

That's the fastest I ever pulled that off on a new Ware game, that's the power of pure hype right there.

Yeah, I definitely agree with you there. One of the neat extras in the Wario series is how you can say 'screw the rules' and find a work around for anything you consider annoying/impossible, like with the overpowered items in Wario Land 4.

What mission(s) are you having trouble with?

I'll save my full thoughts on when I beat the game (whenever that is), but so far, I'm having fun with the game. Has that same WarioWare charm I know and love, and I hope to enjoy it more as I dig deeper into it.

I do wonder what took so long for the series to hit the 3DS; by the time it finally did, we were in the process of accepting it wasn't gonna happen, and the Switch being around doesn't help. Ah well, at least it didn't skip the 3DS, so...better late than never, I suppose.
