That reminds me of my retail days. I think most people assume that the womens room is cleaner than the mens room. From my experience, this is not the case Dx

Holy cow! You think you have the opposite sex all figured out, then somebody on the inside throws a curve ball your way. What a revelation...
Hey, Im glad youre okay : p Thanks for letting us know
G’day, folks! This is the angler (of Lake Asparagus), back from a long expedition up the Mitta Mitta River, through the wilds of the Murray Darling Basin. And I have to say, what an utterly miserable homecoming this has been. It wasn’t bad enough my eBay and Yahoo mail accounts were locking me out, but now all my contributions to the forums have been vandalised, or gone up in smoke, along with those who contributed to my threads!

It’s been a struggle just getting back in here. As I already told CM30 in an email, I lost my original Youtube channel some time ago, with years of posts, ratings, and subscriptions down the gurgler (I started that account in late 2006!)

This sort of thing has happened before, and I still don’t know whether it’s an outside culprit, or closer to home. I often use a shared computer within a small community, since my ancient laptop is fair game for viruses. I can’t exactly go around door knocking, asking folks if they’re my friendly neighbourhood hacker.
Australia’s NBN is an absolute joke. Our woeful internet service is so slow, it’s the laughing stock of the west. I’m sure it’s been instrumental in this problem, as you can’t always be certain you’re properly signed out of any given account.

Anyway, I’m at a loss here. CM30 has taken measures to make sure it won’t happen again, on the forums, at least.
Thanks for your concern, everyone (and thanks for your scrutiny, Detective Magma). I know I’m not very active, but I don’t regret knowing you wonderful people. I’ve had some ripper conversations with many of you over the last couple of years.
My sincere apologies for all the hoopla, folks, and thank your mother for the rabbits!

    Lotsa love,

    Angler
Wait, why did you delete every post you made?

Oh, dear... No joke. It's all gone. Well, there go my write-ups in "Animation Appreciation", and everyone else's posts, too.
You don't think it could have been some bizarre server error, do you, CM30? I can't fathom why Angler would suddenly go through every last one of his posts and delete them manually (unless there's some "delete all postings" feature which I'm unaware of). It doesn't add up.

Yeah, something seems very off here. Like someone accidentally nuked every bit of content the member has for some reason.

But that wouldn't make sense. There is a spam cleaner feature, but that also bans the member, and Angler ain't banned. No logs indicate any mod or admin changed anything either.

A server error is definitely possible though.

When it comes to the blizzards and the snowstorms, we will continue on just as planned. When the rain's coming, when the snow melts, we shall continue to rise above it! Nature will chase us, we will beat her. And brigands, thieves, cutthroats of all nations may hound us, BUT.... we are ready for them! We will blast them to kingdom come! We can melt, we can blast, we can rise above, we are INVINCIBLE!! AHA-HA-HA-Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-hahhhhh!!!

That's good to know that you're actually busy and you're still giving some time to come by and say hi!

Oh wow, really? How cool! It's a really good feeling to know you're not alone in this, you know? Plus he/she's a fan of Wario too, thanks to you!

Have you kept contact? Maybe you can invite to join the forums! Unless he/she moved on or grew out of it, that can happen too.

Anyway, it was very nice to know you're alright, thank you for the motivation and kind words! I hope to keep chatting with you!

No, no. She did grow out of Wario, after school ended. Apart from my brothers, I have nobody to play Wario with. Heheh. Ahh well.

If you ever feel like talking I'm always willing to listen (if you can catch me first, that is).

Thank you, friend! I will definitely keep that in mind! I'm having a smooth ride so far, but I know the road will get rocky, so it's good to know I have people I can count on!
So I have a question, have you played the DKC port on the GBC? I know you're fond of the DKL trilogy on the original Gameboy and since it uses the same engine as those games (At least, I think it did.) and even a good majority of DKL1's soundtrack, i'm very curious if you've played it and if you have, what are your thoughts on it?
Just thinking out loud here, but I really love that ambient 'dripping' sound whenever you boot up the Dreamcast. It's so calming and takes me back to the late 90's-early 2000's...
Are you a prison guard now or what?
Since you seem to be quite the Accolade fan, I wonder if you've played Slave Zero? That's my favourite TPS!

Well, you know, Glow... despite my lifelong love for Bubsy, I'm not exactly a huge Accolade connoisseur, as I might have implied. I've been meaning to raid their wine cellar for the longest time! Haha.

What do you reckon, is the original PC version the way to go? I've heard the Dreamcast port was pretty shabby, which is a real shame.
    Glowsquid
    Glowsquid
Totally! Not only is it cheaper and easier to access due to being released on GOG and Steam (where it frequently goes on sale for like $1 on both), the Dreamcast version is indeed a total mess with horrible framerate, removed enemies and NPCs, and no ingame music at all.

Wow... A buck? No kidding. It's always fascinating to play or watch a company's first and final games, and compare them.
Hey, what did you think of the Simpsons episode "Bart vs Australia"?

Sure! Plenty of us loved Bart VS Australia, and quote it whenever we get the chance. Heheh. Nothing like a quick game of Knifey-Spoony to break the ice.

    NINE-HUNDRED DOLLARYDOOS??!

I wish we actually did call our currency "dollarydoos"... It's a BLOODY OUTRAGE, IT IS! I'm gonna take this all the way to the pri-minista!!
    What happened to Lake Asparagus?
The bell tower that was only used for one episode. That one had a sad ending : ( It was for the better though, I always thought Seymour and Edna were perfectbfor each other. Never got Ned and Edna

Of course! That's one of my favourite ending/credit rolls! Other favourites were the first two halloween specials, Jazz Man, Lisa it's Your Birthday, Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head... far too many to name, actually.

I used to love spotting the shooting star as a kid (at 0:39 in this video). Hahah! The simplicity of youth...

Aw, that made my eyes water watching it again just now : ( oh, and I also loved jazz man and lisa its your birthday. I also liked the one where Lisa fell for her substitute teacher, when he gives her the note before heal leaves, and the thanksgiving episode where she and Bart bond on the roof. Also the episode where Homer and Lisa sneak into the history museum, is probly my favorite episode between the two. I used to remember the tune that played from the artifact Homer knocked over, but its been so long that I don't even totally remember what it looks like anymore : p

After much deliberation, I have once again decided to try my hand at building an ultimate classic Wario fighter for MUGEN. Now, I know the whole MUGEN fad is ancient history and the community is not what it once was, but it's still a brilliant game/fighting engine with endless potential. My hunger for a traditional Wario fighter must be quenched! It will be a long and complex undertaking, but a rewarding one for all the old fans. I have a slew of nifty ideas (just wait and see!), however, I must stress that this is not how I make my living, so it won't be priority number one. When I have something meaty to show, I'll let you all know. Wish me the very best of luck! ('cause I'll probably need it...)

Yes, I think it's just what the doctor ordered. Nobody here seems interested, but once they see my ideas in action... Hohoh!
I just hope I can show Pigmask my work. I don't expect him to return, but his Youtube channel is slightly active, so I'd love to contact him and have the pair of you trial my Wario in the future.

By the way, I still intend to make those stages we discussed (like the stormy battlements of Syrup Castle). I still have all the old notes and that remix you made for my WL4 puzzle room!

Anyone ever wonder how Jimmy T. might have reacted to the "Disco Sucks" campaign, or record burning of 1979?

Probably rather poorly. Like Disco Stu from The Simpsons.

Still, he's a rebel! He likes music that those modern snobs consider outdated!

Yeah, Jimmy's a good role model. He'd get along really well with Stu.
Every time I return here there's fewer reasons to stay. The recent wave of immature Orbulon/Sabrina fanatics really makes me realise I am far too old for this childish internet nonsense (honestly, what IS this whole fad with Orbulon and Sabrina?) I'm totally out of place, and I felt the same way back when the Ashley fanatics flooded the place with their song and praise. I only stuck around for the better members, but most of them have long since gone (MonaWare, Pigmask Colonel, King Hehehe), and now BlueJack. While others like Glowsquid, Magma, and JaWF remain, I just can't find any substantial reasons to stick around. I know most internet goers are totally content burning up precious days/weeks/months with mindless memes and distractions, but when you reach 30, the years of life seem a little more valuable than that.
Lol, is that the US cover of Shadow Dancer? One of the worst JP to US boxart change ever
    Dangerous Duck

Glowsquid, you brash brute. Why are you so delightfully candid? That's one of my all-time favourite Sega covers, just for its dark, hand-painted aesthetic and unique composition!

It totally fits the game's gritty atmosphere and title - Shadow Dancer - with Joe Musashi's fearsome shadow looming over that woman-beating terrorist he's about to decapitate.
This cover is unique and breaks video game conventions. It's a work of art that tells a story relevant to the game's title. The Japanese one is utterly generic. All you get is a typical closeup of Musashi coming at ya'. Do me a favour!
