My familiarity with "Rococo Rondo" has proven a valuable asset in today's quiz about Formes Fixes. I wonder where along the line the "eau" in "Rondeau" became "o".

Also: apparently, if this example audio is anything to go by, this style of composition is consistently really fucking pleasant? I suppose that may have something to do with all medieval music never being discordant at any point, or ever having accidentals, which can be refreshing.

Okay, for real this time, let's pay our respects regarding Kokonoe's departure.
It was a really unpleasant surprise and I'm actually *really* sad to see her go-- a fact that initially had me as disoriented as the act of finding out, because I didn't know that I'd already gotten attached, and while I may be the only one who reacted so viscerally to her 2 Weeks' Notice, I don't think I'm the only one affected by this.

I can only hope that she sees my post, and that this whole thing ends up like the end of Battle Tendency. I still have some hope, but she sounded really rather fed-up, and I wish I'd known that was the way she felt-- don't know how much I could have done, but I would hope that it'd be enough to let her know that her presence was appreciated. I was so busy thinking "I could get used to this, this chick's pretty cool" that I didn't take the time to let her know that's how I felt-- not directly enough for my taste, anyway.

This feels like a goddamn George Orwell novel:

I think one of the smaller details about WL4's music that I love the most is the unorthodox orthodoxy of the drums. CMV, 40 Below Fridge, The Big Board, all of them have a really weird structure, yet sound perfectly well and phenomenal. (This carried over to WarioWare Inc., too, if you listen to Dungeon Dilemma) It's kind of like a small-scale version of Wario games in and of themselves, in that way.

Okay, just to clarify, I don't actually care about the whole Magma thing? I haven't for a while, I just was using him as a butt monkey for some shitty jokes, okay? It was childish and stupid, and unfunny, but considering this is me we're talking about that prolly isn't too surprising.

@CM30 can we have notification options for people we're following? Like, I want to be able to see all of stupidface's posts, but at the same time I don't want anyone bombarded with all of mine (unless they'd like to be, which would make my heart flutter ngl).
