[DEAD] Wario Land 3 Hack Project

I still have to add them all to the Database, right?
I think I'll do that. The following days I'll make a playlist, a video with all cutscenes combined and a database update. When it's completely error-checked, I'll give everyone ability to view the database and give the link in the big video and the playlist's description.

Man, compared to you, I feel like I've only done so little. (USEFUL small things, mind you, but still: small)

I think it would be better to have separate videos.
But a combined is nice too, i guess

Of course! I'll keep the seperate videos in the playlist. But I think I shouldn't publicly upload all the seperate videos because it will be a little bit spammy. But I will of course give a link to the playlist in the description of the combined video.
Edit: Haiko, you did the all object sets, which has been of a great help for me. Also, you've done the tedious job of error-checking, which needs to be done too.

It wasn't so hard for me to come up with interesting ideas for the Town, Village and Desert levels.
But Wario Land 3 has a bunch of just generic water levels, and I don't really know how to make them, or other not-memorable levels more interesting

Random question: Drenn, any way of letting us know what is going to be new in v0.5? I'm really curious... Or do you want to keep it a secret? Also: any expected release date yet?

Yes, those spikes were supposed to be torches. I accidentally used the wrong tile. It's kinda confusing if they're all just numbers.

I have an idea for Beneath the Waves:
Since most of the level takes place in random boring caves how about we replace that with something like a sunken ship? Or a submarine?

Well, we still have to use the 5T block, and something that Octopi can break.
But i like the idea

And by the way, nobody has given me any feedback on my level design ideas :p

I love the ideas for A Town in Chaos (or whatever we are gonna call it) and whatever we are gonna cal our desert level, but I don't know what to do with The Peaceful Village idea.
Although I was thinking maybe we can change The Peaceful Village's theme overall, considering there reallly isn't an important custscene covering it. And with some ASM we can change cutscenes slightly, for example the Snake Pots.

Well, i like the village theme thought, so I would like to keep it, but find a way to make it more interesting
Well, I'm currently making a document with all Cutscenes per stage, and whether or not the stage theme can be changed.
Just remember I do this by heart, so it will need a little bit of error checking.

I just thought of this: We can make The Volcano's Base a Mine Level!
It already has the Minecarts, and Snake Pots don't make a Mine any more weird then a Volcano Base, and Earthquakes even make sense for a Mine!

I actually already had this idea before, and I really think it could work.
"Volcano Mine".
Theoreticly, we can put a bunch of wheel-less Mine Carts in the level, and they will be used to give access to half of the level. In that case, it might not be a bad thing to put the Green Chest in the Red Minecart area.

Also, fill the level with A BUNCH of Fire Snake pots, to make the level slightly more challanging for both the green and blue chest.
