Well its based off that, its just done by some guy who has a game grumps clone yt channel.
I dont care about the person behind the voice so much, I just really like seeing a badly animated Crash Bandicoot appearing on other videos like the one I showed above : p They are clever and cute.
Well it makes sense, just having the one voice clip would limit what you could do with it, where having the oney guys variations makes it a bit more diverse.
Wanted to share a convo I had with CMV about the Crash meme just a bit ago, as its one of the things I really hate about "meme culture"-
[10:31:08 PM] Bandicooties <3: this is a comment on a new Oneyplays video:
[10:31:11 PM | Edited 10:33:45 PM] Bandicooties <3: "I'm sorry that the normies killed crash, Chris :("
[10:33:28 PM] Bandicooties <3: also this one
[10:33:33 PM] Bandicooties <3: "Hey Chris can you do the sound effect of the existential dread brought by the fear of any playful noise or phrase you make becoming a played out and soulless mass produced meme? that would be pretty funneeeeeeee"
[10:38:47 PM] Apricooties<3: I would reply to them with "oh boo hoo"
[10:38:59 PM] Bandicooties <3: no : <
[10:39:33 PM] Apricooties<3: yes : p thats one of the reasons I hate memes, thinking youre an elite for enjoying a joke you didnt even have anything to do with in the first place : p
[10:40:11 PM] Apricooties<3: the joke was funny until other people started enjoying it- thats a really stupid complaint : p yeah a joke become popular, boo hoo : p
Freaking crybabies : p Its just a joke, you arent special for being a fan of it when it started : p
Why can't designers ever make a half-way accurate likeness of Aussie critters? Crash Bandicoot looks like a dog, Knuckles looks nothing like an echidna... Then there's Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, Willy Wombat, and that platypus character... (I know I'm forgetting a few).
Obviously they don't have to look like this, but do our unique wildlife a bit of justice. Sheesh...
