So the Water Park track in Mario Kart 8 might be referring that Wario owns an amusement park:

Although it's not categorized as a Wario track because its staff ghost racers just happen to be Baby Mario and Baby Luigi.

This is actually a reference to Greed Loves Old People except it's the opposite

outside of their respective games, wario, shadow, waluigi, and knuckles play games together, and in a thread of my "art", I actually made art of them gaming together, and wario, anton, and peppino go out for drinks occasionally

-Wario keeps becoming broke because his spending habits are just as bad as his greed.

-Wario doesn’t take Waluigi along on adventures because he tried once, but it went badly and Wario got annoyed with having to do everything.

-Waluigi tried making microgames for Wario, but Wario got annoyed at all of the self-insert stuff Waluigi kept putting in (despite doing that exact same thing himself in each of his games)

-Wario never stays in his castles because they’re too much trouble for him to maintain, so he probably sells them before moving back into his house in Diamond City.
