  • I'm going to be streaming within the next few minutes, if you're interested it'll be at tahutoa
Edit: sorry, troubles with the streaming software and the game I was trying to stream got in the way. I'd set the software to auto-detect, and that didn't fucking work, but because of the way Red Faction's overrides work, it fucked with my keyboard+mouse to the point where I couldn't even use the task manager to shut it down, and then the process of restarting was taking a billion fuckin' years, and eventually I had to go to the bathroom (which is good because I'd been suffering from an IBS flareup since like last Wednesday).

on the bright side while i was waiting on the startup to happen I got a new high-score of 78 on 9-Volt's stage for Inc.
Okay, so I've been told that the .mid files included as part of Inc.'s contents are just deadass sitting inside its .gba file. How do I dig in there and rip that shit out of there?

It's like they're just sitting there taunting me

You'll want to find a .gba ROM editor that'll let you see the files inside the .gba file.
Preferably one specific to Inc, but a general purpose one will probably do.

Word of Warning: The files will probably be compressed, so be careful when extracting them.
One of the things that sucks the most about chronic tinnitus is when the higher frequencies act up. ...Another is when for some reason your ear temporarily 'ultra-focuses' on the white noise and makes you think for a couple seconds that your hearing in that ear has just turned off.
I finally figured out what that template of the Hulk holding out a Taco reminds me of-- Paul from Sprint
The only time it's socially acceptable to reveal you've got someone's nose is when it's been running.
I had a dream that for my birthday my dad got lunch from two places. I should've known it was a dream when from the Dairy Queen bag fell one wrapped half of a Waffle-Iron Grilled Cheese (and I caught it like a pimp ), because DQ stopped selling them years ago.
My trusty pair of BASS JAXX TITAN headphones started shorting out today. They developed a problem where at certain angles they would exhibit symptoms of phase inversion-- they'd swap to Mono, and from what I can tell, center-panned signals specifically would cut out. The poor thing was living on borrowed time though, and I knew it.
SO. I've switched over to the extra pair of this exact model of headphone that I got this past Christmas :3V:. I'd been using the other pair for... well, I'm pretty sure I'd been using them since a little ways into my SoundCloud career. So, a little bit over two years I'd been using them, then. I'd actually forgotten that the earphones were made with a false cowhide pattern. Not to mention that they used to cancel out background noise a good amount, like this new pair does.

Thank you, Titan I, for o'er two years of excellent service. May your cardboard crypt protect you forever,
and may your successor live up to your legacy. May this successor also be more accepting of my rather lărge head.

...meanwhile, aforementioned big head is causing my own 'phones to hurt my ears...

Todo está bien, you know what they say about big heads. Big... uh... storage spaces of information. Yeah.

Apparently, people with larger-sized heads are descended from homo sapiens that cross-bred with neanderthals.

And I mean, like, it's better than heads that're too small. If it weren't, I can imagine that anime would look a whooole lot different.
yo, my brain supplied me with a total pearl of an analogy just now. It took me a bit to figure out how to word it, but it's a fab one.

    How about:
An audience is like a fire. Keep lighting the flint, keep the bed maintained, and it'll appear.

I feel like the analogy to maintaining your image (whether that was your intent or not) is to its detriment, to be honest.

Since the original intent was to talk about the perseverance angle, how 'bout "keep feeding it and it'll grow"

tahutoa, I think you just hit the jackpot.
Did anyone else play Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo on the 3DS?
    tahutoa

I ask because that game was fuckin' fab, even though sometimes it was relentless (I got every single acorn in the game-- in NG+ as well, I think, plus all the challenges for every level, and it was so goddamn hard to do some of those time trials), and it's a crying shame that as of typing this I've had yet to see the soundtrack on YouTube, because that Autumn track is fly, especially those flute samples, which I'm under the impression are called "TronFlutes" for some reason? If anyone knows where I can access either of those two that'd be grand.

Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will have posted the OST in the last... uh... half-decade since I last checked.

Edit: okay, seriously, what the fuck, people can pirate entire Mario Kart 7 roms and shit but they can't get a simple iOS port's ost in seven goddamn years.
apparently i need to find some way of recording 3ds audio through the headphone jack because this is unacceptable

I've done it. ...by the way. as of about 9-ish hours ago. Cleared the white noise caused by recording, fixed the levels, sounds niiice and crisp. I'll spoil you all with these dulcet tones soon enough.
oh my god it's been a full week since my last status post. And oddly enough, I feel better now than I have since mid-May.

OMG, a whole week! For @tahutoa, that is a shock!
Question: what does adding an (!) after a word actually imply? I'm almost positive that it's a way of saying something is particularly of note (even if the reasons themselves may not be obvious, or indeed even known to the reader, necessarily), like
Wario was on his way to the store to get some bread (!) and eggs.

I only ask because Google treats the (!) (which I like to pronounce as a clipped, slightly angry-sounding "Au--!") like it's not part of the search query, and I assume someone on here's more knowledgeable than I am.
