i mean yes the character design is a bit simplistic if not a little generic, but then again, if you're a japanese guy whos always being subject to space princesses with magic powers and tight suggestive clothing, ashley would seem a bit lackluster in comparison with typical tropes (which isnt the case). also, those random "U WOT M8" though.
Man, this is ridiculous. We're not discussing coolness, craftiness, technique, vehicles, speed, power-ups or size to strength ratio.
Donkey Kong can bench Wario and everything he stands for. Wario is hella strong, but Donkey Kong's biceps are bigger than Wario is. And unlike Wario, DK doesn't need a bull pot to have sweet, sweet rippling muscles.
You can see this in every game that features both characters. Donkey Kong's power stats are just higher.

This thread... It's like a dog chasing its tail. It's never going to reach a conclusion, as long as new members keep digging it back up. Though I do find this "stamina" comparison laughable, considering how fragile DK is with even the smallest unarmed enemies in platformers, compared to Wario.

I love it TB, such wonderful music. Wario has to win, right? This is the Wario Forums not Donkey Kong Forums, lol. It's time two people plays as Wario and Donkey, both players with equal skill.
Stay cool, Kyon. My point was that Wario's stamina overshadows Donkey Kong's on a general basis, yet those statistics don't reflect that. Wario can walk up to an enemy and just barge it around like a boss, while if DK walks up behind something like a Gnawty beaver and tries the same thing, he'll take a hit.
You say that Mario beat Wario with ease, yet it took a total of nine stomps to take him down across three different phases, and he was totally invulnerable to Mario's fireballs. Definitely more resilient than the average Bowser fight back then.
