Jeez that was a fast Super Smash Bros Ultimate match. Set up an eight player match with knockback set to twice the normal amount on Golden Plains, and the whole thing ended in about 20 seconds.
Thoughts on Smash so far: Pretty good, though it'll be a while until I've played enough to write a review/come up with a final verdict on the game. Need to unlock all 70 odd characters and fight through all of World of Light first.
Controversial thought: Nintendo's success on Switch shows the company needs to be run more like a proper business and less like an 'old boy's club' for their developers/designers. Make things people like, you make money.
Ever wonder why we try to self host most content at Wario Forums and Gaming Reinvented? Well, see the YouTube takedowns for Smash Bros Ultimate content.
Anyone else find it kinda weird how inconsistent the NIWA policies on fan works are? Zelda Wiki and Bulbapedia document them plus fan sites and notable fandom members, whereas Mario Wiki and Smash Wiki don't mention them at all.
> Not counting ports and remakes, Boom Boom currently holds the record for the longest non-appearance gap in the series with 99 titles between his initial introduction and his reappearance.
Did someone at Mario Wiki actually go through and count the games between Super Mario Bros 3 and 3D Land?
*Looks at the sales for Super Mario Odyssey, Zelda Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Party, etc*
Hmm, seems like the fans/buyers may be telling Nintendo something there. All these games basically offered exactly what people wanted from a title in the series, and not so coincidentally broke a bunch of sales records in the process.
So apparently Five Nights at Freddy's is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Hmm, Nintendo's really got the ultimate kids console here haven't they? Fortnite, Minecraft, Undertale... now this. Heck, they've even got the YouTube app so said kids can watch big name channels talk endlessly about the same games too!
Anyone think they missed a trick with the YouTube app on Switch? It's okay, but you should have been able to post videos from the console's capture feature to your channel through it.
God, real life is such a poorly designed video game isn't it? Microtransactions everywhere, pay to win at every corner, terrible character balance and tier list, a broken physics engine and tedious gameplay mechanics everywhere. Definitely deserves those low review scores.
For god's sake Google, when will you guys get it through your thick skulls that not every search query needs 'an answer', and that giving irrelevant information is worse than useless?
Well, this'll be interesting. Will add a feature that lets you start to post content here before registering, then has you register after it's posted. That way, people are... incentivised to register a bit more.
