    Been playing some of that Superstar Saga remake earlier. Fun, but something about it feels kind of 'slow' compared to the original game. Probably how they significantly boosted the stats for many enemies, while not adjusting your damage output that much for Bros Attacks.

    I disagree, I felt like I wrecked the bosses far too quickly in the remake. It just feels all-around easier.

    Oh, it's still super easy and I still utterly wrecked the bosses (just like I did in the original game). But sometimes I felt kind of bored fighting a normal enemy, cause it took more hits without really doing anything in return.

    Am I the only one who prefers it when games actually show your failure upon a game over? Don't just cut to black/text, actually show the villains destroying the world or succeeding in their goals.

    There are Wario fans who dislike X or Y characters and are suprisingly peaceful (there are a few exceptions though), but that doesn't make it bad as the Fire Emblems' fandom.

    Oh, no, you misunderstood my comment! I know Japan bears no ill will towards DKC or Rare -- I'm talking about Sakurai. He's proven himself pretty uninterested in Donkey Kong as a whole, especially after how embarrassingly poor DK representation was in Smash 4. One could make the argument that it was because Sakurai didn't have much "new material" to work with for the DK series (by the time he heard about Tropical Freeze's overseas development, production on Smash was too far along to make any big changes) and that it's why only Donkey and Diddy were present, but that's a really poor excuse, regardless of whether or not the focus was on modern characters only. No matter how you look at it, Sakurai is biased against adding Donkey Kong content.

    Now, with that said, I'm actually pretty confident that, at the very least, we'll see Dixie Kong as an Echo Fighter. However, I'm not going to hold my breath for K. Rool until we know more about what sort of DK content will be in the game (new Tropical Freeze-related material or classic Rare-era DKC). Seeing as there appears to be less of a focus on new, modern games in Ultimate, I'm hopeful that we'll see some love for Rare's DKC games... But, who knows. It's too early to be making bold assumptions.

    Hmm, guess we were all right about Mario 64 style 3D platformers being more popular than 3D Land/World esque ones. Super Mario Odyssey is apparently the best selling game on the Switch, and with 10 million copies sold so far, could well become the best selling 3D Mario game ever.
